Who it fits

When the brand drives the build, not the template.

Custom is the right pick when your site has to carry the brand promise, to investors, talent, RFPs. If you need a standard company site with a reliable CMS, Business is the better call and skips the discovery overhead.

Fits for

  • B2B SaaS companies with design ambition or a Series-A/B presence
  • Architecture firms, engineering firms, design studios with portfolio ambition
  • Premium or heritage brands needing clear differentiation
  • Companies with complex information architecture (case studies, team, insights, careers)
  • Projects with motion concept, optional 3D/WebGL, own component system

Doesn't fit

  • Standard company websites without design ambition (see Business)
  • Single campaign landing page (see Starter)
  • Online shop with payment as the core use case (see Commerce)
  • Greenfield without brand material and no appetite for a discovery workshop
  • Projects expecting a flat rate before scope is clarified

Included

What you get, no template.

Discovery & architecture

Workshop, wireframes, information architecture

Three to four hour workshop on brand core, stakeholder interviews, competitive scan. Wireframes before design starts, so layout and content hypotheses are settled before we push pixels.

Design system & templates

Own design system, 10–20 individual templates

Typography, colour system, component library, documented and scalable, not assembled from presets. Ten to twenty page templates (landing, product, case study, team, blog), each with its own motion concept.

CMS & integrations

Headless CMS with multi-editor, CRM, newsletter, optional 3D

Sanity, Payload or Strapi with multi-editor roles, preview flows and structured content. Advanced integrations for CRM (HubSpot, Pipedrive), newsletter (Brevo, Klaviyo), automation (n8n, Zapier). DE/EN standard, additional languages on request.

How it runs

Live in four to eight weeks. Discovery first, scope after.

Week 1

Discovery

Workshop three to four hours, stakeholder interviews, competitive scan. Result: information architecture, content inventory, scope proposal with range.

Week 2–3

Design system

Typography, colours, components, two to three page concepts. Figma handover if desired. Motion sketches before build.

Week 4–6

Build

Next.js 16, GSAP or Motion One, headless CMS, integrations wiring. Lighthouse checked during build, not at the end.

Week 7–8

Launch + handover

Deployment, editorial training, design system docs. Thirty days of post-launch support included.

What we promise

Three values we measure, not claim.

Performance

Lighthouse above 90 across all four categories, Core Web Vitals green, even with motion and 3D. Anyone offering this elsewhere should show proof.

Accessibility

WCAG 2.1 AA, full keyboard navigation, screen-reader tested, prefers-reduced-motion fallbacks for every animation.

WCAG AA

Design system

Atomic design, tokens, documented components. Extensible without redesign, even two years later.
